Origami Lab is a small studio I started in Los Angeles after noticing how many great small businesses — places with strong work and warm reviews — were running websites that had quietly stopped in time.
I wanted to be in their corner. That’s why Origami Lab exists.
We rebuild those sites: directly, at a fixed price, and made to last.
The “Lab” in the name is on purpose. Websites are where we’re starting.

Common questions
How fast can you launch a site?
Typically 14 days from the first call to launch. Some projects take longer if content isn’t ready, but we’ll always tell you up front.
Do you build bilingual (English / Japanese) sites?
Yes. We treat it as a translation-and-write-up, not a copy-paste — your Japanese page reads like Japanese, your English page reads like English.
What’s included in the $99 monthly fee?
Hosting, email forwarding, domain renewal, security updates, and up to one hour of small edits each month. Larger changes are quoted separately.
Do I own the website and content?
Yes. Domain, content, and design are yours. If you ever leave, you keep everything.
Can I edit the site myself after launch?
If you want to. Most clients prefer to send us their edits — that’s what the monthly hour is for. If you want full self-edit access, we can set up a CMS (add-on).
What if I need bigger changes a year from now?
We quote them separately, fairly. Long-term clients get priority and a small discount.
